International Business Honor Society (IBHS)

The partnership between Her Hands International and IBHS began in 2016, when Professor David Wernick first introduced The Bandhwari Women's Project to IBHS students. Since then, the project has become an invaluable platform for students to apply their academic knowledge while gaining hands-on experience in international business, social entrepreneurship, and nonprofit management.
 
Each year, IBHS members not only contribute to the growth and visibility of the project but also sharpen their own international business management skills. Beyond the classroom, a select group of students travels annually to India, where they have the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the local culture, witness the project’s impact firsthand, and build lasting connections with the women of Bandhwari.
 
This ongoing collaboration continues to shape students into globally minded leaders while advancing the mission of empowering women artisans through sustainable economic opportunity.
